Monday, March 11

Kids Read, Create, Explore: Egg Drop at the Thompson Public Library: Open to kids to read, create, and explore! This month's story is based on eggs, and the activity is an egg drop! Happening in the Community Room 2.

Tuesday, March 12

STEM Fun at the Pomfret Public Library: Ready to catch a Leprechaun this year? It's no easy feat, but join us as we team up to create a clever trap! This group project will blend STEM skills with teamwork for an unforgettable experience. Grades K-5th, registration is a must—hop online or give us a call to secure your spot! 

A History of the Huskies Hoops at the Andover Public Libary: Get ready for some thrilling trivia to test your UConn knowledge, with a lively Q&A session to follow.  Calling all UConn basketball enthusiasts – whether you're a fan of the men's, women's, or both teams, mark your calendars! Join us at the library on March 12th at 6:30 PM for an evening you won't want to miss!

Children's Storytime and Craft at the Babcock Library in Ashford: Calling children of all ages! The Babcock Library in Ashford is hosting a Children's Storytime and Craft

Thursday, March 14

LEGO Club for kids 5+ at the Guilford Smith Memorial Library in South Windham: The Guilford Smith Memorial Library will provide the LEGOs; you bring creativity! Some weeks will feature LEGO challenges. This program is intended for kids 5+.

No registration is required.

Friday, March 15

Friday Crafternoons at the Guilford Smith Memorial Library in South Windham:Let's get crafty this National Craft Month!  Join us every Friday afternoon for a fun craft session where your child can get creative right here at the library or take the craft home to enjoy later! 

Feel free to pack a lunch or snack, or indulge in the treats provided by the library (please note: beverages will not be provided)!  Ages 2 and up are welcome to join in the crafting fun.

Saturday, March 16

HerStory TeaTime at the Canterbury Public Library:The Canterbury Public Library invites children 4 and older to bring their favorite doll along with their favorite adult!  You will read together about girls in history while enjoying goodies!  Sign-up required - register for this program by calling the library at 860-546-9022.

Sunday, March 17

New London St. Patrick's Day Parade Join us for a fantastic lineup, including local bands, civic groups, Irish civic organizations, and youth groups! The parade starts at the corner of Bank and Tilley Streets, heads north on Bank Street, turns left up State Street, and continues onto Washington Street.  This year’s route is approximately ¾ of a mile, making it more compact than previous routes and providing better views for everyone! The review stand will be at Parade Plaza, located at the corner of Bank and State Streets.
