Last Wednesday evening, my youngest, Cayden, and I had the delightful opportunity to attend Cirque du Soleil’s “Bazzar.” With tickets saved to my phone, we arrived early enough to indulge in some classic event fare—nachos and hotdogs—setting the stage for a night of wonder.

Before the show, we took advantage of the festive atmosphere, strutting down the red carpet and snapping photos in front of the dazzling Bazzar banner. As 7:30 pm approached, the audience’s anticipation reached its peak, and right on schedule, the show commenced with a captivating, interactive introduction. We were introduced to the charismatic Maestro and his troupe of artisans, each ready to unfold their one-of-a-kind acrobatic marvels.
Among the night’s unforgettable acts were the following highlights:
The Opening Act: A mesmerizing display of strength and agility took center stage as a man in orange tights ascended into the air, held aloft by two long straps. Performing a series of breathtaking acrobatic maneuvers—many while entirely upside down—he did so without the safety of a harness or mat, adding a thrilling edge to every moment.

The Grand Finale: A burst of color and energy filled the tent as the evening drew close. All performers converged in a final, spectacular display of their talents. Amidst this whirlwind of activity, one artist stood out: a woman suspended by a clip woven into her hair bun, her body swirling through the air in a series of elegant acrobatic turns.
The entire show was a phenomenal experience, rich with fantastic music and captivating adventures that only the Big Top could host. Running for 100 minutes with a 25-minute intermission, the show’s pacing allowed for a brief respite before plunging back into its mesmerizing rhythm.
However, it’s worth noting to future attendees that they should aim to return promptly after the intermission. While distracting, the comings and goings in the last 45 minutes couldn’t overshadow the magic of Cirque du Soleil. The night was an unforgettable adventure of color and excitement, perfect for families seeking a night out filled with awe and amusement.
